White-label travel management app developer mTrip now is offering
clients the ability to incorporate safety features from GeoSure, which provides
risk assessments for more than 65,000 localities worldwide, into mTrip-built
apps.
Once a corporation or travel management company integrates
GeoSure into a travel app, users of that app will be prompted to view personalised
safety data for a particular city or neighbourhood, including an overall safety
rating as well as a detailed assessment of risk for six other categories:
women¡¯s safety; LGBTQ+ safety; physical harm; theft; health and medical
(including Covid-19 risk); and basic freedoms.
With corporate travel departments, TMCs and other
stakeholders expected to shoulder a heavily increased duty of care and traveller
safety onus in the post-Covid business travel ecosystem, risk assessment and
health-related services have proliferated in multiple forms.
GeoSure is the second safety and risk assessment platform
mTrip has made available within its custom white-label apps of late, following
its integration of Riskline's services in July. GeoSure also recently began
offering its safety and risk assessment services to clients of alternative
accommodation and corporate housing provider Reside Worldwide.
