The arrangement will give Cytric users access to Berlin-based Squake¡¯s sustainability tools, including CO2 emissions data and enhanced ¡°indicators¡± to allow travellers to make ¡°tangible comparisons¡± when selecting transport options.
Other elements include CO2 pricing and taxes, which will be displayed at point-of-booking through Cytric, as well as budget tracking to allow corporates to monitor carbon budgets. Carbon compensation is also available through certificate programmes for the use of alternative aviation fuels.
Dan Kreibich, Squake¡¯s co-founder and chief product officer, said the Amadeus partnership ¡°represents a significant step forward in making these tools more accessible for businesses¡±.
¡°By integrating Squake¡¯s technology, we¡¯re enabling organizations to better understand their emissions and take action to mitigate them,¡± he added.
According to the companies, emissions data displayed within Cytric will be based on the corporate's chosen calculation methodology.?

Amadeus has previously worked with another German sustainability specialist Eco.mio to provide nudge and incentivisation capabilities through Cytric.
