Air Canada has announced that its summer seasonal service between Ottawa and London Heathrow will extend to a year-round offering.
The service will operate three times weekly during the carrier¡¯s winter schedule, from 2 November 2025 to 27 March 2026. Flights are scheduled to depart London Heathrow at 12:00 on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, arriving at Ottawa International Airport at 14:30. Flight frequency is expected to increase to four time weekly during the summer season, starting 28 March 2026.
Air Canada¡¯s executive vice president and chief commercial officer, Mark Galardo, said: "Air Canada continues to solidify its leadership serving our country's capital and we are excited to keep Ottawa connected to one of the world¡¯s most important global gateways all year long.¡±
Susan Margles, president and CEO of the Ottawa International Airport Authority, added: ¡°In today¡¯s global landscape, strong connections between Canada¡¯s Capital Region and strategic markets like the UK are more vital than ever. Air Canada¡¯s decision to extend its Heathrow-Ottawa service through the winter is great news.¡±
