Ren¨¦ van Olst has been promoted to CEO, EMEA and APAC
Chauffeur service provider Blacklane has promoted Ren¨¦ van Olst to chief executive officer in EMEA and APAC, while Kasra Moshkani has been appointed to the newly created role of chief executive officer, Americas.
The appointments come as the company looks to expand its operations in key markets.
Both van Olst and Moshkani will report to Blacklane founder and CEO Jens Wohltorf and will oversee growth, operations and revenue across major cities in their respective regions, with a focus on business travel.
The regional CEOs will also be tasked with recruiting general managers in cities such as Paris, New York and Los Angeles, the company said.
Based in Berlin, van Olst joined Blacklane in 2019 and has served as its chief operating officer since 2022. Meanwhile, Miami-based Moshkani joins the company from secure identity platform CLEAR. ?
