The US carrier on Tuesday revealed details of the ¡°nose-to-tail transformation of our cabin interior¡±, which includes new seating materials, ¡°enhanced¡± lighting, a warmer colour palette throughout and new decorative motifs on bulkheads and in lavatories.
Updated seats will feature breathable materials and, on wide-body jets, will also include memory-foam cushions, while mood lighting will change throughout the course of flights to create a ¡°calming¡± atmosphere. Lavatories will also be refreshed with bright walls, including an accent wall with a celestial sky pattern.
The redesign is focused on ¡°making customers feel at home¡± and comes as the carrier gears up to mark its centennial anniversary.

Delta¡¯s vice president ¨C customer experience design, Mauricio Parise, said: ¡°As we embark on our next century of flying, this refreshed cabin interior infuses utility with beauty to create an atmosphere that feels fresh, elevated, and timeless while reflecting our customers¡¯ evolving tastes and expectations.¡±?
The new look will be rolled out ¡°later this fall¡± on narrowbody Boeing 757 aircraft that operate on domestic and short-haul international routes. In early 2025, a widebody Airbus A350 will debut the new design on long-haul international routes.
Additional aircraft will be overhauled ¡°as Delta¡¯s schedule and operation allows over the next few years¡±. ?
¡°Delta is committed to having its entire fleet look uniform and updated with this new design. Our goal is to create a singular experience across our diverse fleet, not just a unique subset,¡± the carrier said in a statement.
