The Dubai-based carrier said the new cabin will be added to all A380-operated services to New York JFK from 1 December. This update will include daily flights from Milan, where the 56-seat premium economy cabin will be available from 10 November.
The upgrades are in addition to the carrier¡¯s existing Dubai-New York flights (EK203 and EK204) that already feature the cabin.
The retrofitted A380 aircraft have four cabins: first class, business class, premium economy, and economy class. These aircraft also operate on routes to the Asia-Pacific region. As part of its rollout, Emirates plans to offer the premium economy cabin on 68 routes by March 2026 across its fleet of A380, B777, and A350 aircraft.
