Italy's ITA Airways and Air Canada are expanding their codeshare deal to include another 10 destinations in each other¡¯s network for departures from 21 July.
Under the agreement, ITA Airways will place its code on the following routes operated by Air Canada from Toronto Pearson airport: Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and St. John's in Canada; and on selected services between Canada and the US, including Boston, Orlando, Dallas and Fort Lauderdale.?
Meanwhile, Air Canada will place its code on the following routes operated by ITA Airways from Rome Fiumicino airport: Lamezia Terme, Palermo, Catania, Florence and Bari in Italy; as well as flights to Cairo, Tunis, Algiers, Tirana and Tel Aviv. ITA¡¯s services to Tel Aviv are currently suspended due to the security situation in the region.

Lufthansa Group, which has a transatlantic joint venture with Air Canada and United Airlines, acquired a 41 per cent stake in ITA Airways from the Italian government in January. Lufthansa and ITA launched an ongoing integration programme in February with the Italian carrier also set to join Star Alliance in 2026.
