The new Runway Lounge features 125 seats, free wifi and three distinct areas for dining, rest and relaxation and work. Among these is the ¡®silent room¡¯, housed in a replica of an airplane cabin (pictured top), which includes lounge chairs and fully enclosed workstations.
There¡¯s also a coffee stand and cocktail bar. ? la carte meals are served at various times throughout the day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, while an evening aperitif is also on offer from 5:00pm.
Located on the first floor of Linate's Schengen departure area, the lounge is open from 6:00am to 10:00pm daily and can be accessed by passengers travelling in business class on ITA or any other Lufthansa Group airline. Executive and premium Volare members, HON Circle and Senator Miles&More members and Star Alliance Gold Card members can also use the lounge.
ITA Airways CEO Joerg Eberhart said the reopening of carrier¡¯s Linate lounge ¡°confirms the city¡¯s importance in our growth plans¡±. The airline serves 27 destinations directly from the airport, and a further 16 intercontinental routes via connections to Rome Fiumicino.
