Indian airline IndiGo has confirmed that its first European routes will operate from Amsterdam and Manchester to Mumbai from early July.
IndiGo announced its plans in March to start flights from Amsterdam Schiphol and Manchester airports without naming which Indian airport?the new services would fly to.
The airline said its Manchester-Mumbai services would launch on 1 July, followed by the Amsterdam-Mumbai route on 2 July.
Both routes will operate three times per week, initially using Boeing 787 Dreamliners leased from Norse Atlantic Airways before receiving its own long-haul aircraft from later this year.
IndiGo¡¯s Amsterdam-Mumbai route will operate on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, while Manchester-Mumbai services will fly on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
