The non-stop service will be extended by eight weeks, operating from 3 May to 23 October 2026.
An extra weekly service will also be added from 27 June to 26 September, which the carrier said will add more than 40 extra services and close to 10,000 seats on the route.
Qantas first launched its Perth-Rome service in 2022, making the first nonstop flight between Australia and continental Europe, according to the carrier.
Qantas International CEO Cam Wallace said the group¡¯s long-haul flights from Perth have been ¡°game-changing¡± for Western Australia. The carrier also operates nonstop flights from Perth to London Heathrow and Paris CDG airports.
