Scandinavian airline SAS will commence a new service between Copenhagen and Mumbai, India, on 2 June, 2026.
Non-stop flights will operate five times weekly with Airbus A330 aircraft. The route, subject to government approval, will mark the carrier's return to India after 17 years and will support ¡°increased connectivity¡± between Europe and North America, SAS said.
Flights will depart Copenhagen at 13:10 every?Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and arrive in Mumbai at 01:30 the following day. Meanwhile, flights from the Indian city depart at 06:00 on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, arriving in Copenhagen at 11:45.
The carrier said flight times will "support smooth transfers" between Scandinavia, Europe and North America, with "very good connecting times" from India.
