The renovated lounge features new spaces and an ¡°elegant atmosphere¡± for travellers with an Air&Rail ticket, which combines air and high-speed rail travel in a single booking for journeys between Belgium,?France and The Netherlands.
KLM CEO Marjan Rintel said the investment is aimed?at improving the traveller experience when using the train to connect to its air hubs at Paris Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam Schiphol.?

The airline group first introduced its integrated Air&Rail offer in 2001, which includes ¡®dedicated teams¡¯ to assist travellers at stations and a guaranteed seat on the next available flight or train if the preceding flight or train is delayed. ?
KLM business class customers travel in 'Premium' on Eurostar connections to Amsterdam Schiphol, while Air France customers travel in First Class on board TGV INOUI services to Paris CDG.
Members of the group¡¯s Flying Blue loyalty programme are also extended benefits associated with their status, including accumulation of miles, priority check-in and additional baggage allowance.
This summer, a seventh daily high-speed connection will be added between the Brussels-Midi train station and Paris CDG airport.??
