Chauffeur transfer specialist Blacklane is expanding in the Middle East through a deal with electric vehicle maker Lucid Motors.
Blacklane, which wants to double its operations in the region by the end of this year, said the deal would allow it to introduce Lucid¡¯s EVs in Saudi Arabia and the two companies will also work together to expand the EV charging infrastructure within the Middle East.

The deal will allow Blacklane to ¡°significantly expand¡± services in key Saudi cities such as Riyadh and Jeddah. Lucid will also adopt Blacklane as its ¡°chauffeur partner of choice¡± in the country¡¯s major cities.
Faisal Sultan, Lucid¡¯s president for the Middle East, added: ¡°Through this partnership, Blacklane guests will now have access to the Lucid line-up, including the award-winning Lucid Air sedan and the new Lucid Gravity SUV, offering superior range, elevated comfort and extensive room for guests and all their luggage.¡±
