Eurostar services to and from London suffered severe disruption on Wednesday (25 June) after cables were stolen from the line in France.

The train operator said that its services from St Pancras station were ¡°likely to be subject to severe delays and last-minute cancellations¡± following the theft of cable near to the Lille Europe station in northern France.
¡°Our stations are very busy, and we advise you to cancel or postpone your trip,¡± added Eurostar in a statement to customers. ¡°We're very sorry for the inconvenience caused and the disruption to your travel plans.¡±
Eurostar said that track repairs had been completed by early afternoon but delays are set to last until the end of Wednesday.
¡°Full repairs are now completed and traffic resumed as normal at 1pm BST/2pm CET. Some delays can still be expected until the end of the day,¡± added Eurostar, in an update on Wednesday afternoon.
The operator is offering affected passengers the option to move their booking to another date for free, cancel the booking and claim an e-voucher, or cancel and receive a refund.
