Navan said that its booking platforms now automatically finds split-ticket savings by ※cleverly combining multiple tickets for the same journey§.
※Your travellers book as usual and travel on the same trains 每 just with smarter, cost-effective ticketing happening behind the scenes,§ explained the TMC in a LinkedIn post.
Booking UK return rail journeys on separate tickets can save an average of ?13 per trip, according to specialist rail technology firm Trainline Partner Solutions, which is working with Navan to offer split-ticketing functionality.
A Navan spokesperson said that the new service was now available to customers around the world.
※Navan is continuously investing in its rail offering and looking for new ways to make ground transportation more seamless for travellers,§ added the TMC in a statement.
※We already offer access to over 40 rail carriers in 10 countries and we*re constantly assessing what new and enhanced rail connections would benefit our customers.§
The TMC is also working with UK-based rail specialist SilverRail to provide booking capabilities for train services in Canada and Sweden by the end of this year.
