FCM has secured a ¡°multi-year¡± contract with Shell, which starts this year, following a tendering process and will offer a full range of travel services to the organisation¡¯s travellers.
Julia Sullivan, Shell¡¯s global travel operations manager, said: ¡°We look forward to working with FCM and to leveraging their digital capability and innovative approach.?
¡°Our joint goal is to make a positive difference to our employees¡¯ travel experiences, supporting their wellbeing and empowering them to make more sustainable travel choices.¡±
Sullivan added that the goal was to establish a travel programme that was ¡°as progressive as possible when benchmarked against environmental, social and governance (ESG) frameworks¡±
Meanwhile, fellow TMC TripActions has been selected by engineering firm Weir Group as its global travel partner.
Weir Group, which specialises in the mining and infrastructure industries, has a workforce of 11,000 employees and operations across more than 60 countries.
Betty Grogan, Weir¡¯s global travel manager, said: ¡°We took the opportunity during the pandemic, when there was less travel, to re-evaluate our travel programme with the objective to provide a consistent and streamlined travel solution across the organisation.?
¡°First and foremost, it was important we align on employee safety and sustainability benefits, but also to optimise savings, quality and service, and compliance with a single solution.¡±
