Vancouver-based Uniglobe said that the deal with ITP, which has members across Europe and other regions, adds travel management companies ¡°in a number of key markets¡±. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
Uniglobe was ranked as the seventh largest TMC network in Europe in 2024, with ITP in eighth position.
¡°The ITP members that are now part of Uniglobe Travel will benefit from expanded technology and supplier offerings, a much larger global network of partner agencies and more robust support from the Uniglobe Travel head office in Vancouver and regional office in London,¡± said Uniglobe in a statement.
The deal also sees ITP¡¯s Hans Rudbeck Dahl and Kristel Ruinet joining Uniglobe's regional office in London.
Martin Charlwood, president and chief operating officer of Uniglobe Travel International, added: ¡°This move expands our network by adding agencies in a number of key markets, which benefits our existing member agencies, the members we¡¯re welcoming from ITP and their collective clients.
¡°We¡¯re also pleased to be able to add two key staff members to both facilitate this transition and enhance our support teams for the long term.¡±
Uniglobe said that adding ITP¡¯s agencies alongside other new members has increased its annual global sales volume to $4.5 billion. The network now has TMC members in more than 50 countries.
