Becky Power
American Express Global Business Travel has bolstered its SME team with the appointment of technology specialist Becky Power.
London-based Power, who formerly worked as Google¡¯s managing director for corporate strategy and operations in the EMEA region, has been recruited as Amex GBT¡¯s VP and general manager of global client management for SMEs.
In her new role, Power will have responsibility for ¡°strengthening global client management capabilities¡± within its SME-orientated platforms Amex GBT Select and Ovation, with ¡°a focus on client retention and business growth strategies¡±.
Jason Geall, executive vice president, global SME at Amex GBT, said: ¡°We are excited to welcome Becky to our team. Her proven experience in building partnerships and driving commercial performance in a technology environment brings added strength to our focus on growth as a software and services company in the vast SME sector.¡±?
The company said in a statement that Power will have a ¡°focus on retention and delivering tech-enabled growth for customers¡±.
