Festive Road¡¯s head of sales and marketing, Katie Virtue, will depart the UK-based business travel consultancy after six years to join supplier-focused consulting and marketing firm, Temoji.
Virtue stated in a video on LinkedIn this week, together with Festive Road CEO Caroline Strachan, that she will leave the company at the end of August.?She intends to expand her own motivational speaking and coaching business while also assuming a role with Temoji, the details of which were not disclosed.
Temoji was formed in 2024 after former Festive Road co-founder Paul Tilstone decided to break-away the supply-side of the business into a separate entity, while Strachan continued to develop Festive Road into a buyer-focused consultancy and outsourcing provider.
¡°I¡¯ve loved the consulting work that I¡¯ve been able to do at my time at Festive Road, and I¡¯ve especially loved projects I used to do with suppliers, like facilitating advisory boards or producing events and creating white papers,¡± Virtue said in the video. ¡°To be able to do that for suppliers in travel and expense, the perfect place for me to carry that out is with Temoji Consulting.¡±
Strachan said: ¡°However hard it is for us to say goodbye, we all know you¡¯re running towards what you love, Katie, and we always encourage that, so we¡¯re 100 per cent behind you.¡±
She added that a successor for Virtue¡¯s role at the firm will be announced ¡°soon¡±.
