Martin Ferguson, former VP of global communications, public affairs and events at Amex GBT is now managing partner of Kintela
Former executives of Amex Global Business Travel, HRG, EY and?BCD Travel have joined forces to launch Kintela, a new communications and live experiences agency for the business travel sector.
Founding partners include Martin Ferguson, former VP of global communications, public affairs and events at Amex GBT and now managing partner of Kintela; Karen Hutchings, former global head of travel, meetings & events at EY who formed her own consultancy in 2024; Sallyanne Heywood, a senior communications and marketing strategist who previously worked at HRG and Amex GBT; Nigel Mead an event host and presenter who will lead experience design at Kintela; and Stewart Harvey, former EMEA president of BCD Travel and group commercial director at HRG, who will serve as strategic advisor to Kintela and its clients.
The London-based agency aims to ※strengthen communications and live experiences across business travel§ and is already working with clients across the UK, Europe and the US. The company declined to name any of its clients.

The agency said it works with industry suppliers, intermediaries and corporate travel managers in the areas of content development, messaging strategy and stakeholder engagement, including helping corporate travel managers engage travellers and bookers and ※tell a stronger story to senior leadership about the value of managed travel§, the agency said in a statement.
