Gonzalo Aguilar
Minor Hotels has appointed Gonzalo Aguilar as its new CEO for Europe and Americas as the Bangkok-based company looks to expand in these regions.
Aguilar takes over the role at Minor Hotels from Ram車n Aragon谷s, who retired at the end of 2024. Aguilar joined the company in October after previously holding the position of chief operating officer for Europe at Marriott International.
In his new role, Aguilar will be tasked with ※strengthening international integration of Minor*s brand portfolio and accelerating hotel openings in key markets§. Minor*s brands include Anantara, Avani, NH Collection and nhow.

Minor has stated that it wants to add more than 200 hotels to its global portfolio during the next two years.
