The two companies have launched a new commercial offer that provides carbon emissions reporting data to non-existing clients 每 both TMCs and corporates 每 with prices starting from ?1,495 per annum.
Pricing differs according to data connectivity types, the data format required by the end customer and travel volume, the companies said.
The deal follows Tripstax's recent report of a "surge in demand" for data required to enable carbon reporting and comes as an extension of its existing partnership?with Thrust.
Namely, the new deal will allow non-existing clients to leverage TripStax*s Core processing system, which consolidates booking data, as well as Thrust Carbon's emissions calculation methodologies. The two companies share data via an API-powered data feed, with aggregated carbon data reporting previously reserved for existing clients.
TripStax chief product officer, David Chappell, said: ※We recognise that sustainability is a priority for corporates due to the acceleration in organisations setting carbon net zero targets, and the increasing pressure to be ready for new legislation such as CSRD. Having access to consolidated and accurate carbon emissions data is essential, but the challenge for TMCs and corporates is to pull all that data together from disparate sources.§
Speaking to BTN Europe, the companies said the new deal also enables Thrust Carbon to use the aggregator capabilities of the TripStax Core to provide consolidated carbon reporting.
Thrust Carbon founder and director, Mark Corbett, added: "This new commercial offer will put best-in-class sustainability intelligence at the fingertips of travel managers around the world, cost effectively and seamlessly.
※Ultimately, we exist to empower the entire industry to make impactful decisions for their travel programmes and drive forward to net zero.§
