Jorien Dielwart is global travel, expense and fleet manager at TomTom
Jorien Dielwart is speaking at Business Travel Show Europe for the
first time this year as she participates in a panel session called &Keep that noise down! Traveller pricing complaints, limited content access and how you can fight back,* at 14.20 on 25 June.
What's the biggest challenge facing you currently as a corporate travel manager?
The biggest challenge I see as a travel manager is managing costs while working with multiple providers and the forced move to NDC 每 which is not always the better result 每 while my travellers find better rates outside of the tool.
What one thing could your TMC do to make your life easier?
We are currently moving our travel services to an EMEA/APAC hub in the Netherlands. Listening to the client and having good discussions made our life easier and created a better partnership.
What*s the biggest barrier to introducing policy considerations for minority travelling groups such as solo women, neurodivergent people, and the LGBTQ+ community?
The latest changes in the political direction globally are making it difficult for our travellers to be fully prepared as their rights are unfortunately becoming less important in some countries.
Why is Business Travel Show Europe such a key date in your schedule?
It enables me to meet with peer professionals on a global level and get inspired.
Name one thing you cannot live without when you*re travelling.
My earplugs and running shoes!
