Italy¡¯s Gattinoni Group has acquired a 51 per cent stake in Milan-based events and incentive travel specialist H&A, the companies announced on Thursday (17 July). Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Gattinoni, which has separate departments for business travel, leisure, and events, said the move will bolster the Gattinoni Events Division and its ability to manage large-scale events.
Gattinoni Events and H&A will continue to operate as separate brands, with separate structures and teams, the companies said, but with ¡°shared values and a common industrial vision¡±.
The ¡°partnership¡± between the two companies is expected to generate total revenues of close to €100 million, with Gattinoni Events forecast to earn €70 million in revenues in 2025, according to the company. Meanwhile, its business travel arm reported?€267 million in gross sales in 2024 and is ranked as the?sixth largest?travel management company in Italy in BTN Europe¡¯s Leading TMCs 2025 report.
Commenting on the H&A acquisition, Gattinoni Group president Franco Gattinoni, said: ¡°We will work together to develop new projects and tackle the challenges of a constantly evolving market that demands integration between strategy, creativity and performance.¡±
H&A founder and CEO Giancarlo Giumelli added: "This partnership represents a growth opportunity for both companies. While maintaining our independence, we will benefit from new synergies, strengthen our market position, and face new challenges, including at the international level."
