Ruby Hotels, which was acquired by IHG Hotels & Resorts in February, has announced plans to open a second property in Sweden, in the coastal city of Malm?.

The 78-room hotel will open in early 2028 following the redevelopment of a former office building in the city¡¯s Davidshall district and will form part of IHG¡¯s premium segment portfolio.

The property will feature the brand¡¯s ¡®lean luxury¡¯ design, with ¡°highly visible¡± public areas on the ground floor and the existing Brogatan restaurant, which will continue to operate separately within the building.

The hotel is within walking distance to Malm?¡¯s Central Station, while Copenhagen Airport is 26 minutes away by train.

"Following our market entry announcement in Stockholm last year, Malm? is the perfect next step in our Swedish growth strategy, said Elena Guenther-Jakobs, associate director for development in central and northern Europe at Ruby Group. ????????
