Berlin-based NUMA, which last year acquired UK aparthotel and serviced apartments brand Native Places, is set to take over the former MyBrighton Hotel in Jubilee Street.
The property is to undergo refurbishment and then reopen later this summer offering a total of 84 apartments with 172 beds.
The Brighton opening is part of NUMA¡¯s wider expansion plans in the UK, with the company targeting more properties in cities such as London, Manchester, Bristol, Belfast, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
The brand now has a footprint in 36 cities across 15 European countries with a total portfolio of 9,000 units, including destinations such as Berlin, Paris, Rome, Milan, Madrid, Barcelona, Oslo, Prague and Vienna.
Philipp Rohweder, senior advisor for real estate at NUMA Group, added: ¡°Brighton, with its vibrant cultural scene and coastal charm, is a perfect fit for NUMA¡¯s innovative hospitality model.
¡°As a favourite destination for both domestic and international travellers, Brighton strengthens our footprint in the UK and demonstrates our commitment to bringing modern, digital-first accommodations to the country¡¯s most exciting locations.¡±
