TRIBE Riga City Centre is the brand¡¯s first property in the Baltic States and is part of a major expansion plan across the continent. TRIBE currently has more than 40 new hotels set to open within the next five years, with 75 per cent of these properties located in Europe.
The new 81-room Latvian hotel is based in Riga¡¯s Art Nouveau district. It also features a ¡°free flowing¡± bar and restaurant area, four meeting rooms and co-working spaces, as well as wellness and fitness centres.
TRIBE, which currently has 16 properties open globally, already has six hotels in Paris alongside locations in London¡¯s Canary Wharf, Amsterdam, Baden-Baden in Germany, Budapest and close to Milan¡¯s Malpensa Airport.
Forthcoming hotels due to open later this year include two additional locations in Paris, as well as TRIBE Manchester Airport and TRIBE Dusseldorf. These openings will be followed in 2025 by hotels at Budapest Airport and in the Polish city of Krakow, and then by TRIBE Mainz in Germany in 2026.
Philippe Bijaoui, chief development officer for Accor¡¯s premium, midscale and economy division, said:?¡°TRIBE is a brand with incredible potential, particularly in Europe. There is a big market for travellers who crave stylish and modern hotels, giving them more for less.
¡°It¡¯s a great example of what we are doing across our portfolio to make our hotels community hubs that appeal to those in the local neighbourhood, as much as those visiting from afar.¡±
